Pogkas Georgios

Capt. Georgios Pogkas is a VVIP aircraft pilot with a lot of years of experience in the aviation industry. His desire to fly began very early in his life starting his career very young executing flights with gliders in the Athens Glider Club. In a very short time, he became glider flight instructor. After his decision to became Airline Pilot, he finished his pilot training in U.S.A. acquiring the F.A.A. pilot license and became airplane flight instructor. Over the course of the last 36 years, he has accumulated more than 11,000 flight hours working in aviation schools and airlines companies. He is rigorously trained in a wide array of airplanes including Jetstream 31/32, Metroliner 26/27, Embraer 135/145, ATR 42/72, to the very big Jet as VVIP B 757/767 holding the positions in most of the airplanes as captain and flight instructor. Currently he is flying as a captain on the VVIP Cessna Citation XLS/XLS (+). Additionally, he has become a highly regarded instructor and director of training in several aviation companies willing to share his knowledge and experience with the next generation of pilots as his skills and expertise are an added value to the team.
